Finish Carpentry

Custom trim, crown molding, built-ins, doors, and millwork by our own carpenters.

Finish carpentry is where a house stops feeling like construction and starts feeling like home. D&R Pro Builders does this work with our own carpenters — custom trim, crown molding, casings, built-ins, doors, and millwork that fit the architecture rather than fighting it.

This is the craftsmanship showcase of what we do. Miters close. Profiles align. Built-ins sit flush and level. The details you touch every day are the details we refuse to rush.

Trim and millwork

  • Custom trim and casings
  • Crown molding
  • Baseboards and transition profiles
  • Window and door surrounds

We match existing profiles when renovating older New England homes, or establish a clean, consistent language for new work.

Built-ins

Custom built-ins turn empty wall space into storage and display that looks intentional — bookcases, pantry units, window seats, and media walls designed for the room rather than bought off a truck.

Doors

Interior and exterior door installation includes the slab or unit, the jamb, hardware prep, and the trim that finishes the opening. Alignment and swing clearances are checked before anything is called complete.

Our carpenters, not a sub: finish carpentry and custom millwork are performed by D&R’s own crew. The same standard that governs our framing shows up in the trim.
